Jump Start Your Writing Today!
What motivates you to write?
1.) Do you prefer the sounds of the rain drops?
2.) How about sitting on your balcony as the sun shines?
3.) Do you get inspiration from listening to music?
4.) Does it have to be completely quiet?
5.) How about a goodnight's sleep?
6.) Did that writing prompt help?
7.) How was that walk?
8.) Did that book help?
9.) How about re-writing your other work?
10.) Did that vacation help?
See, it is different for everyone. We all write. That inspiration comes from somewhere. It's just a matter of time before it all starts. Then we find ourselves picking up a pen and the notebook. If not that, it is the computer that has our eyes glued too.
Our writing takes off. We are in our zone. Nothing can't hold us back now. How about you? Do you feel the same way?
Writer's write! That is how it is and will be.
Keep going...write! Don't give up!

The Purpose Behind Writing
Is writing your escape plan from reality? Do you write for fun? Do you write for a living?
No matter the purpose, something sparks our attention and get our minds going. Ideas
flow and we have to get it down right away. And this is where the communication begins.
At the time the writer talks with his or her voice from handwriting that tells a message,
solving a problem, or giving updates.
Writing is powerful. Once the brain processes the information, there is no telling how it's
going to end up through the writers hands once it reaches the pen and paper.
Through it all, we must learn from the beginning. If this is what you was set out to do,
don't hold it back any longer. Strive for success!

Anatomy of a Writer: Guest Post by author Sydney Arrison
Writing comes as natural to me as breathing. Someone recently asked me "how long have you been writing?" My reply was, I don't remember a time that I didn't write. When I was a child I began to write. It helped me express all of the sorrow and pain I felt. I remember looking at this catalog filled with toys. I didn't want the Easy Bake oven or the latest Barbie...I wanted a typewriter. I was overjoyed on Christmas to find it sitting under the tree. I would spend hours in my room writing short stories and poems.
I was withdrawn and painfully shy, but somehow managed to find my voice when I wrote. Writing allowed me to travel to places I've never been, to see things I've never seen. To feel safe, protected and loved. I remember writing my first poem in third grade.
My teacher wanted me to read it in front of the class. Knowing I was too shy to do so, she decided to read it for me. It was entitled "Spring is like".
Spring is like a new born baby.
Spring is like a very pretty lady.
Spring is like the birds and the bees.
Spring is like the flowers and the trees.
In all that in one makes spring.
Weird how I STILL remember that. I know if I can imagine it, I can write it.

Thoughts on Writer's Block
First of all, we lose focus once in a while; not being able to stay on task and get the work done. The mind is puzzled, we lost the motivation to be able to pick up a pen and paper. Times get rough. Don't no where to begin. Days, weeks, and months just goes by.
You may have ideas or not but you wonder if your writing is good enough. You may sit and stare for a while. Thinking about having the right words. Getting stuck with the revisions. Another thing is that depression, sleepiness, or stress can play an role in it too. Having too much going on at once can cause anyone to lose focus and stop doing what they was doing. After all, we want to make sure our work is perfect for our readers.
That's where criticism comes into play. Our readers may say something about our work from time to time. But some won't. We are taught in life in general, to not let what people say get to us. Comments are going to come sooner or later. And we have to prepare ourselves for that.
Writer's block comes and goes. We all get it but once it is gone; we are back in our zone. Just writing nonstop and coming up with amazing ideas. Our minds are back on track. We have found our way again.
So, if you are looking for a way to prevent writer's block; try not to be hard on yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back. Reward yourself sometimes. Take a break but not too long. Maybe take a walk or do something else that you like to do that will help you relax. You could even try an writing exercise. Keeping ideas fresh on your brain.

Writing Deep Inside
The power of one's voice, straight from the heart. It's an inner passion that has been develop over the years. Staying true yourself and realizing your worth. Just asking yourself, am I a writer? And you know this, when all you do is think about what you should write about. Searching for words to make sense to another words. So, you find yourself going through an thesaurus or even an dictionary.
And it doesn't stop there because you spend hours everyday at your computer just typing away or either in a journal. Also, jotting down notes all the time.
Now that is a true writer!
See, writing doesn't take much experience. Most of us are just born to write, while the rest acquire these skills over time. But we all most reach our readers somehow.
Just like any other dreams and goals that we all have; we must keep our dream alive and don't let it die. The sky is the limit and so I am going to keep reaching beyond the stars.
My work is real and I am just being me:
I am poetic because I'm skillful, creative, and noble; I write poetry.
I love writing. My mind is at ease and then it all just flow freely together connecting all the hooks. Just setting sail across the oceans and exploring; sight seeing as far as the eyes can see.
It's true to my identity. Being full of life in all I do. Writing your heart out. Letting your voice be heard.
Because in the beginning, your mind is blank. Then the light bulb finally turns on. Giving us the bright idea of all time. So much information to figure out what to do with it and what's next. Knowing it is all there; just have to get it down before it goes away.
Then we are on a mission. Trying to get it done and to succeed in the end.
By not giving up. Staying in the game. And mastering your achievements in life. Keeping the faith through it all.
As for me, I got to keep believing and achieving to become an successful writer. This is me and I love to write.
